The RCP has launched a new resource kit for physicians ‘Making the case for research’. The kit is designed to help consultants and resident doctors make the case for why they should be able to undertake research and help them understand what they can do to get more involved.

It is with great pleasure that I take over the helm as the first female and Academic Hepatologist Chair of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø Research Committee in June 2024. I would like to begin by sincerely thanking Shaji Sebastian for leading the Committee through a very challenging 2 years as UK Gastroenterology re-emerged from the covid pandemic.

Pancreatitis James Lind Alliance PSP

Established in 2021, the Pancreatitis JLA PSP worked with patients (adults and young people aged 11+), carers and health care professionals to identify and prioritise uncertainties about the diagnosis, treatment, management and support for people with pancreatitis.
